THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS

One of my very good friends and travel buddies is a photographer by hobby - and a wonderful one at that. I've often looked at her work, realizing just how much is brought to life through a still photo, and that each individual photo, tells a story without need for a single written word. It is because of her, that I too, have found an escape while looking through a lens. Granted, I have but a fraction of her talent and caliber in such things. Of course though, thanks to Instagram, now everyone is an expert in taking and sharing their experiences through photography. Which perhaps no longer makes me the rookie. So for those who find a picture speaks a thousand more words than a written sentence, this page is for you. xx
